The Baltimore Ravens have released DE Ufomba Kamalu on Wednesday, according to Ian Rapoport.
The Ravens just signed DE Derek Wolfe to a contract last week, which likely played into the decision to cut Kamalu.
Kamalu, 27, wound up signing on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Miami back in 2016. He was, unfortunately, unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason and was later signed on to Houston’s practice squad before eventually being called up.
The Texans re-signed Kamalu to an exclusive rights contract in 2018 but he was once again among their final roster cuts. After brief stints with the Cardinals and Patriots, Kamalu was signed to Baltimore’s active roster in October.
For his career, Ufomba has appeared in 15 games and recorded 12 tackles and three sacks.
