The Baltimore Ravens waived DT Braxton Hoyett with an injury settlement on Wednesday, according to Aaron Wilson.
Hoyett, 25, wound up going undrafted out of Mississippi State back in 2018. He later signed on with the Titans, but was waived at the start of the regular season.
The Chiefs signed Hoyett to their practice squad a few months later and he returned to Kansas City on a futures contract last year. From there, he signed on to the Ravens’ practice squad and agreed to a futures contract with Baltimore this past January.
During his college career at Mississippi State, Hoyett recorded 41 tackles, two sacks, an interception, and a fumble recovery over the course of four seasons and 32 games.
