Pro Football Talk is reporting that the Ravens brought in free agent RB Eddie Lacy for a workout on Friday.
This is an interesting tryout, given that Lacy hasn’t had any reported interest in over a year after sitting out the 2018 season.
The Ravens have placed a large emphasis on their running game in the past year or so, but they have a number of running backs on their roster including Mark Ingram, Gus Edwards, Kenneth Dixon, De’Lance Turner and Tyler Ervin.
Lacy, 28, is a former second-round pick of the Packers back in 2013. He played out the final year of his four-year, $3.392 million contract before signing a one-year contract with the Seahawks in 2017.
In 2017, Lacy rushed for 179 yards 69 carries (2.6 YPC) to go along with six receptions for 47 yards receiving and no touchdowns for the Seahawks.
