Ravens WR Steve Smith was taken to the locker room with an ankle injury during the first quarterback of Sunday’s game.
Smith, unfortunately, suffered a season-ending Achilles tear last year and has said that this will be his final year in the NFL, so hopefully this isn’t anything major.
Smith, 37, is in the final year of his three-year, $10.5 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $3 million for the 2016 season.
Entering today’s game, Smith has caught 24 passes for 281 yards receiving and a touchdown for the Ravens. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 30 receiver out of 104 qualifying players.
We’ll have more regarding Smith’s injury as the news is available.
