Ray Rice To See More Carries In The Coming Weeks

Ravens RB Ray Rice mentioned that he expects to see a “nice workload” during the second half of the season.

Rice has been very effective this season, as he’s currently averaging 4.94 yards per carry, but the number of touches that he has received has been held in check while the team has been employing an uptempo offense this season.

As the weather worsens, a team’s running game becomes more and more important to their offensive strategy. The Ravens have already said that they would like to improve their time of possession, so it seems likely that Rice will be in line for more carries in the coming weeks.
