The Redskins claimed LB Zach Vigil off of waivers from the Dolphins on Tuesday, according to his agentย Ryan Downey.
Vigil, 25, wound up signing a three-year, $1.585 million contract with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Utah State back in 2015. He managed to make the 53-man roster in each of his two seasons in the NFL but was unfortunately cut loose on Monday.
In 2016, Vigil has appeared in seven games for the Dolphins and record two tackles.
