The Redskins officially placed DE Myles Humphrey on injured reserve Sunday after he passed through waivers unclaimed.
Humphrey, 23, wound up signing on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Shepherd back in May of last year. He was cut loose coming out of the preseason and had a brief stint on the Ravens’ practice squad before signing on with the Giants.
New York brought Humphrey back on a futures contract this past January, only to waive him a week after this year’s draft. He signed on with the Redskins a few weeks ago but was waived with an injury designation on Saturday.
Humphrey has yet to appear in an NFL game.
