According to Ian Rapoport, the Redskins are bringing in Auburn QB Jarrett Stidham for a pre-draft visit on Thursday.
The Redskins are doing extensive work on quarterback prospects this year, so they’re clearly a team to watch to take a quarterback.
Stidham, 22, came into his final season at Auburn as one of the top quarterback prospects and a possible first-round pick. However, he had a disappointing year that included declines in all of the major statistical categories.
As of now, the expectation is that Stidham will likely be a mid-round pick in the 2019 draft.
During his college career at Baylor and Auburn, Stidham completed 64.1 percent of his passes for 6,844 yards, 43 touchdowns and 13 interceptions to go along with a quarterback rating of 147.6 over the course of three seasons and 36 games. He also rushed for 218 yards and nine touchdowns.
