Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net reports that the Washington Redskins are in “exploratory talks” with the Rams for their #2 overall pick. Pauline adds that St Louis “will do everything possible to move the second pick of the draft.”
Several reports have already come out that the Rams have been fielding offers for their first-round pick and it’s been no secret that the Redskins are one of the teams looking to trade up for Robert Griffin III.
Pauline also mentions that you can expect to see Washington as the first bidder for Manning if/when he becomes available.
Basically, the Redskins are doing whatever they can to upgrade the quarterback position instead of going through another season with Rex Grossman under center.
