Redskins Make 16 Coaching Staff Hires Official

The Redskins announced on Wednesday they have officially hired 16 new coaches to HC Ron Rivera‘s staff.

2. DB coach Chris Harris
3. TE coach Pete Hoener
4. WR coach Jim Hostler
5. Assistant ST coach Ben Jacobs
6. RB coach Randy Jordan
7. OL coach John Matsko
8. DL coach Sam Mills III
9. Defensive QC coach Vincent Rivera
10. Assistant DB coach Richard Rodgers
11. LB coach Steve Russ
12. Offensive QC coach Todd Sturm
13. Assistant WR coach Drew Terrell
14. Assistant DB coach/nickel Brent Vieselmeyer
15. Assistant OL coach Travelle Wharton
16. QB coach Ken Zampese

Zampese, 52, began his NFL coaching career with the Eagles as an offensive assistant back in 1998. Since then, he worked for the Packers and Rams before the Bengals hired him as their quarterbacks coach in 2003.

The Bengals promoted Zampese to offensive coordinator for the 2016 season. However, he was fired as offensive coordinator a few weeks into the 2017 season.

From there, Zampese joined the Browns as their quarterbacks coach for the 2018 season.
