Everett, 27, originally signed on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out Texas A&M back in 2015. He lasted just a few months with Tampa Bay before signing with the Redskins.
Washington waived Everett at the start of the 2015 season and later added him to their practice squad before eventually promoting him to their active roster a month later.
Washington re-signed Everett to a two-year deal ahead of the 2018 season and signed him to another three-year extension through 2023 last month.
In 2019, Everett has appeared in five games for the Redskins and recorded eight total tackles.
