The Washington Redskins announced that they’ve placed S Montae Nicholson and DB Fabian Moreau on injured reserve Friday and signed DB Kenny Ladler to their active roster.
Nicholson, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the Redskins back in 2017. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $3.01 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $645,000 and $735,000 over the final two years of the agreement.
In 2019, Nicholson appeared in 13 games for the Redskins and recorded 62 tackles, two interceptions, two fumble recoveries and four passes defended. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 85 safety out of 90 qualifying players.
