The Washington Redskins officially promoted WR Jehu Chesson to their active roster.
Chesson, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2017. He lasted over a year in Kansas City before he was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed to the Redskins’ practice squad.
Washington promoted Chesson to their active roster soon after and he’s been on and off of their roster ever since.
In 2017, Chesson appeared in 12 games for the Chiefs and caught two passes for 18 yards receiving and no touchdowns. He also added 65 kick return yards.
