The Washington Redskins are promoting WR Cam Sims to their active roster on Wednesday, according to John Keim.
Sims, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Alabama back in 2018. He was placed on injured reserve a few weeks into the 2018 season.
Washington waived Sims a few months ago and re-signed him to their practice squad.
During his college career at Alabama, Sims caught 41 passes for 467 yards receiving and two touchdowns over the course of four seasons and 23 games.
