The Redskins waived Carter with an injury designation on Saturday.
During his four-year college career at Grambling State, Carter rushed for 2,628 yards on 396 carries (6.6 YPC) to go along with 74 receptions for 961 yards receiving and 38 total touchdowns over the course of 48 games.
