The Washington Redskins announced that they’ve signed DL Trevon Coley to their practice squad on Wednesday.
The Redskins’ practice squad now consists of:
- OT Isaiah Williams
- WR Kendal Thompson
- TE Wes Saxton
- C Ronald Patrick
- DB Tye Smith
- DT Joey Mbu
- WR Matt Hazel
- DB Lee Hightower
- DB Dashaun Phillips
- DL Trevon Coley
Coley, 22, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Florida Atlantic back in May. He was unfortunately among the Ravens’ early roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
Coley worked out for the Patriots and Titans since becoming available but didn’t receive an offer from either team.
During his college career, Coley recorded 195 tackles, 14 sacks, an interception, four forced fumbles, two recoveries and three pass defenses over the course of four years.
