According to Adam Schefter, the Redskins are signing former Steelers S Sean Davis to a one-year, $5 million deal.
Davis should have the chance to step into a starting position with Washington next to S Landon Collins.
Davis, 26, was drafted in the second round out of Maryland by the Steelers in 2016. He played out the final year of a four-year contract worth $4,086,976 to go along with a signing bonus of $1,172,344 and made a base salary of $1 million in 2019.
Davis played in one game for the Steelers in 2019, recording five total tackles.
