The Washington Redskins they’ve placed G Arie Kouandjio on waivers with an injury designation following the news that he will miss the entire 2018 season after he recently underwent surgery to repair his torn quad muscle.
Should Kouandjio clear waivers tomorrow, he would revert to the Redskins’ injured serve list.
The Redskins also signed G Isaiah Williams to a contract on Tuesday (NFLTR).
Kouandjio, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Redskins back in 2015. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $2,801,672 contract and set to make a base salary of $705,000 for the 2018 season.
Kouandjio will be an unrestricted free agent in 2019.
In 2017, Kouandjio appeared in eight games for the Redskins.
