The Washington Redskins officially placed OT Jylan Ware on waivers Thursday.
Ware, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Raiders out of Alabama State back in 2017. He agreed to a four-year, $2.5 million contract, but was waived at the start of the 2017 season.
From there, Ware signed on to the Giants’ practice squad in October of last year and returned to New York on a futures contract after the season. However, he was waived by the Giants following this year’s draft and just recently signed on with the Redskins.
In 2017, Ware was active for one game as a member of the Raiders.
