Mark Potash of the Chicago Sun Times reports that the Bears met with Buccaneers offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan for six hours on Friday regarding their head coaching vacancy.
The Bears are scheduled to interview at least seven candidates before the weekend is over. Up next for GM Phil Emery is Bronco’s OC Mike McCoy, Cowboy’s special-teams coordinator Joe DeCamillis and CFL head coach Marc Trestman of the Montreal Alouettes.
It should be noted that Trestman was responsible for getting Jay Cutler ready for the NFL back in 2006 and tutored Russell Wilson when he made the decision to return to football and join Wisconsin last year. His last stint in the NFL was as the Dolphin’s quarterback coach in 04.
