Broncos Sign G Shelley Smith To A Two-Year, $5.65M Deal

Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports that the Broncos have agreed to terms with former Dolphins G Shelley Smith.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Broncos are signing Smith to a two-year, $5.65 million contract.

Smith met with the Falcons and Seahawks in recent days since he was released by the Dolphins.

Smith, 27, is a former sixth round pick of the Texans back in 2010. He spent the first two years of his career in Houston be he was waived and later claimed by the Rams.

In 2014, Smith appeared in 11 games for the Dolphins and was rated as the No. 54 guard out of 78 qualifying players by Pro Football Focus.
