Update:
Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports that a league source has informed him that a Josh Gordon trade is “possible” but not “probable.”
Florio mentions that the report from earlier this week that indicated that the Browns have multiple standing offers on the table for Gordon “feels like something that was leaked by the Browns in order to drive up interest and/or price.”

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that “at least” two NFL teams have made trade offers to the Browns for WR Josh Gordon.
- The two teams reportedly have “standing offers of a high pick and a player” for Gordon, but Browns are “balking.”
- Schefter adds that third team remains “interested.”
Last we heard regarding Gordon possibly being traded, Browns’ CEO Joe Banner mentioned that they have “absolutely” no interest in trading Gordon. This is apparently the case with “balking” and all.
Several teams could use help at receiver and Gordon is not only a good young player, but is under contract beyond this year. Hakeem Nicks and Kenny Britt are both free agents following the season, so they are one-year rentals before they will require a long-term contract based on market valuation.
Speculative options for Gordon could include the Colts, Eagles, Jets, Lions, Patriots, Panthers and 49ers.
