Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports that Buccaneers are finalizing an agreement with free agent WR Lavelle Hawkins.
- ESPN’s Adam Caplan previously reported that the Buccaneers were expected to sign Hawkins.
Hawkins, 27, signed a one-year contract with the Chargers last season after spending the first five years of his career with the Titans.
He appeared in just four games for San Diego in 2013, but didn’t register any offensive stats. According to Pro Football Focus, Hawkins played just 11 offensive snaps last year.
