Report: Buccaneers WR Vincent Jackson Has Small Wrist Fracture

Ross Jones of Fox Sports reports that Buccaneers WR Vincent Jackson sustained a small wrist fracture during Week 3’s losss to the Atlanta Falcons.

The good news, however, is thatย Jackson is not expected to miss any timeย due to the injury andย plans onย playing against the Steelers next weekend.

Heย took a hit from Falcons Sย Dwight Lowery and fell on his wrist, which appears to be when he sustained the injury.

Jackson and the Buccaneers’ offense haveย really struggled to get things going this season. So far, Jackson has caught justย 10 passes for 102 yards and a single touchdown that came against Atlanta when the game was well out of reach.

Jackson, 31, is in the third year of his five-year, $55,555,555 contractย that includedย $26 million guaranteed. He has a base salary of $10 million for the 2014 season.
