Ross Jones of Fox Sports reports that Buccaneers WR Vincent Jackson sustained a small wrist fracture during Week 3’s losss to the Atlanta Falcons.
The good news, however, is that Jackson is not expected to miss any time due to the injury and plans on playing against the Steelers next weekend.
He took a hit from Falcons S Dwight Lowery and fell on his wrist, which appears to be when he sustained the injury.
Jackson and the Buccaneers’ offense have really struggled to get things going this season. So far, Jackson has caught just 10 passes for 102 yards and a single touchdown that came against Atlanta when the game was well out of reach.
Jackson, 31, is in the third year of his five-year, $55,555,555 contract that included $26 million guaranteed. He has a base salary of $10 million for the 2014 season.
