ESPN’s Adams Schefter reports that the Colts have re-signed veteran K Adam Vinatieri to a two-year deal.

ESPN’s Adams Schefter reports that the Colts have spoken to with free agent K Adam Vinatieri in recent days, but he is expected to reach the open market next week.

There are few decent kickers available in this year’s free agent including Phil Dawson (49ers) and Steven Hauschka (Seahawks).

Vinatieri, 41, is coming off of a very solid season for the Colts and has said that he would like to continue playing for another “two or three more years.”

In 2013, he converted 35 of 40 field goals (87.5%) and was 4 of 6 from over 50 yards.
