Rand Getlin of Yahoo Sports reports that Oregon CB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu is believed to have suffered a serious knee injury during Monday’s practice.
- According to Getlin, the concern is that Ekpre-Olomu has a torn ACL.
This would be terrible news for a young player that is considered to be one of the best cornerbacks in the country and likely in next year’s draft class.
The University of Oregon is preparing for their bowl matchup against Florida State, so this would also be a huge loss for them.
This season, Ekpre-Olomu has recorded 63 tackles, two interceptions, and a forced fumble.
