Jeff Dickerson of ESPNChicago.com first reported that former Bears CB Zack Bowman was signing with the Giants.
- Dickerson first reported that Bowman was meeting with the Giants Monday.
- Adam Caplan reports that Bowman receives a one-year contract from New York.
Bowman, 29, appeared in all 16 games for the Bears and totaled 48 tackles and three interceptions last year. Pro Football Focus rated him as the No. 74 cornerback in league last year.
Patterson, 30, appeared in all 16 games for the Giants last year and totaled 23 tackles. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 42 defensive tackle in the league last season.
