Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, citing a league source, reports that the Giants will not tender restricted free agent FB Henry Hynoski a contract in the coming days.
- Conor Orr reports that the Giants will not tender restricted free agent C Jim Cordle either.
- Ralph Vacchiano reports that the Giants will tender restricted free agent OL Dallas Reynolds.
Florio’s source added that the Giants would still like to re-sign Hynoski , but to a lower salary than the original round tender.
This seems like a reasonable move for the Giants as there will be other options available at fullback in either free agency or the draft if they are unable to reach an agreement before the start of free agency.
Hynoski, 25, was limited to appearing in just three games this past season after he suffered a fractured shoulder and was subsequently placed on season-ending injured reserve.
