Albert Breer of the NFL Network reports that NFL owners and executives were told Wednesday that the projected salary cap for the 2015 NFL season will be $138.6 million.
The number comes in on the low side of the projected range, as reports Tuesday suggested it could be as high as $141.8 million.
Still, the projected number is a $5.6 million increase, which is substantial.
