Pro Football Talk reports that the Ravens WR Jacoby Jones is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with an MCL sprained that he suffered during Thursday night’s opening loss to the Broncos.
Jones was in the process of calling for a fair catch when rookie free agent S Brynden Trawick unknowingly ran right into him. Jones was able to limp off the field, but was clearly in pain.
Marlon Brown tallied four receptions for 65 yards and a touchdown with Jones out of the lineup. Given that the Ravens clearly need another receiving option, Brown could be in for a sizable workload while Jones is out.
