Report: Source Believes QB Logan Thomas To Start Against 49ers

Kent Somers of azcentral.com reports that a Cardinals source has told him that he believes QB Logan Thomas will start against the 49ers on Sunday.

Thomas was drafted in the fourth round this year by the Cardinals.

Arizona’s hard luck with quarterbacks this season has been well documented.  Injuries to Carson Palmer and Drew Stanton have thrust Ryan Lindley into the mix, but he struggled mightily versus the Seahawks.

Ideally, the Cardinals would not have to turn to Thomas while in contention for the top seed in the NFC, but at least they will get a chance to see him in a meaningful game.  Many evaluators believe that Thomas is best suited at another position, so this game could be very telling.

Lindley completed 18-of-44 passes for 216 yards and an interception during Sunday night’s loss to the Seahawks.
