ESPN’s Adam Caplan reports that the Houston Texans are expected to sign veteran OLB Lawrence Sidbury to a contract.
Sidbury, 28, is a former fourth-round selection of the Falcons. He spent his first four years in the NFL with Atlanta before he signed on with the Colts last year as an unrestricted free agent.
Unfortunately for Sidbury, the Colts placed him on season-ending injured reserve before the start of the 2013 season with a shoulder injury.
Sidbury has appeared in 48 career games and recorded just 14 tackles, one fumble recovery and a defensive touchdown.
