Oakland has already signed Rodney Hudson to a massive contract, so landingย Iupati wouldย leave them with a much improved unit next year.
Meanwhile,ย Ross Jones reports that the Bills are pushing to sign Iupati and OT Bryan Bulaga to a contracts as well.

Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that the Jets are “aggressively pursuing” 49ers free agent guard Mike Iupati.
- Mehta confirms that Iupati hasย received serious interest from a handful of other teams.
This comes after the Jets lost out to the Chargers for OLย Orlando Franklin.

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that the market for free agentย Gย Mike Iupati includes the 49ers, Raiders, Jets, and Bills. Although, La Canfora seems to expect Iupati toย be playing somewhere other than San Francisco.
The Vikings,ย Chargers, Redskins, Colts, and Buccaneers are reported to haveย interest in Iupati as well.

Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press reports that the Vikings have reached outย to free agent Gย Mike Iupati in recent days.
According to Tomasson, the Vikingsย are seeking a replacement for left guard Charlie Johnson, who they released not too long ago.
- Michael Gehlken of the Union-Tribune San Diego reports that the Chargers areย expected to make run at signing Iupati.
- Dianna Marie Russiniย also reported that the Redskins and Buccaneers are expected to have “strong interest” in Iupati.
Iupati, 27, finished out his five-year, $15,110,625 rookie contract that includedย $2,074,000 guaranteed and will be an unrestricted free agent in the coming weeks.
Last year, Iupati appeared in 15 games for the 49ers and was rated as the No. 15 guard in the league, according to Pro Football Focus. It’s worth mentioning that he was PFF’s second highest graded guard in terms of run blocking.
