NFL.com’s Jason La Canfora reports that Baltimore Raven RB Ricky Williams has informed the team that he plans on returning rather than return for his twelfth season in the league.
Williams finishes with just over 10,000 yards rushing to go along with 66 rushing touchdowns. He ranks #26 all-time in rushing yards which could have been higher had he not briefly retired during his prime.
The Ravens would have welcomed him back for another season and Pro Football Talk adds that there’s a chance he could return to the team later in the season.
