Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy noted that RB Ryan Grant suffered a bruised kidney during the teams win against the Chicago Bears, per Tom Silverstein.
As far as his status for week 4 is concerned, McCarthy said that they’ll have to wait to later in the week to know whether or not he’ll be available.
Grant had a much needed great game yesterday and actually looked better than his younger counterpart James Starks. The combination of the two could prove to be very effective for the Packers over the course of the season so I’d expect them to make sure that Grant is healthy before throwing him back in the lineup.
