The New Orleans Saints officially placed WR Jordan Williams on the injured reserve list Thursday after he passed through waivers unclaimed.
Williams, 23, wound up signing on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Ball State back in May of last year. Unfortunately, Williams was waived at the start of the season and later signed to the Saints’ practice squad.
New Orleans elected to bring him back on a future/reserve contract this past January. He was waived with an injury designation on Wednesday.
Williams has yet to appear in an NFL game.
