Saints Have Had “Preliminary Discussions” About Re-signing LB Parys Haralson

Mike Triplett of ESPN.com, citing a league source, reports that the New Orleans Saints have had some “preliminary discussions” about re-signing free agent LB Parys Haralson.

While the Saints would like to bring Haralson back next season, Triplett believes they would only do so “at the right price,” which is something he’s been saying regarding almost all of their free agents for a few months now.

Haralson, 30, came over in a trade with the 49ers back in late August. Last season, he totaled 30 tackles and 3.5 sacks over the course of 16 games for the Saints.

Haralson unfortunately suffered a torn pectoral muscle during their Wildcard playoff game against the Eagles, but he is expected to be back in time for the start of the offseason program.
