The New Orleans Saints have promoted TE Dan Arnold to their active roster on Saturday and waived TE Brian Parker, according to Mike Triplett.
It’s worth noting that the Saints will be without starting TE Jared Cook for Sunday’s game against the Bears.
Arnold, 24, signed on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin-Platteville back in 2017. Unfortunately, New Orleans waived him with an injury designation soon after before cutting him loose with an injury settlement.
Arnold returned to New Orleans for the 2018 season, but was waived coming out of the preseason and re-signed to their practice squad.
In 2018, Arnold appeared in 10 games for the Saints and caught 12 passes for 150 yards receiving and one touchdown.
