According to Field Yates, the Saints have re-signed CB Johnson Bademosi.
Bademosi has carved out a niche as primarily a special teamer and has a chance to keep that up in New Orleans in 2020.
Bademosi finished the 2019 season with the Saints on injured reserve after being picked up following his release from the Dolphins.
Bademosi, 29, signed on with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Stanford back in 2012. He managed to make their 53-man roster in each of his first three years in the NFL and was brought back on a one-year restricted deal.
The Lions later signed him to a two-year contract in 2016 before trading him to the Patriots for a 2019 sixth-round pick in 2017.
Bademosi played out the final year of his two-year, $4.5 million contract and signed with the Texans on a two-year, $6.25 million contract in 2018. The Texans traded him to Miami in the last year of his deal as part of the Laremy Tunsil deal but he was released midseason by the Dolphins.
In 2019, Bademosi appeared in four games for the Dolphins and six games for the Saints, recording six total tackles.
