Saints Re-Sign QB J.T. Barrett To PS, Release DB Chris Lammons

The New Orleans Saints have re-signed QB J.T. Barrett to their practice squad on Saturday and released DB Chris Lammons from the unit, according to Nick Underhill.

Here’s the Saints updated practice squad:

  1. TE Garrett Griffin
  2. DE Alex Jenkins (International)
  3. WR Keith Kirkwood
  4. OL Nate Wozniak
  5. RB Boston Scott
  6. LB Darnell Sankey
  7. DT Tomasi Laulile
  8. G Will Holden
  9. DB Chris Campbell
  10. WR Shane Wynn
  11. QB J.T. Barrett

Barrett, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Ohio State back in May before signing a three-year, $1.71 million contract with the Saints. New Orleans elected to waive Barrett as they cut their roster down to 53 players coming out of the preseason and they later added him to their practice squad.

Barrett has been on and off of the Saints’ practice squad ever since.

During his four years at OSU, Barrett threw for 9,434 yards while completing 63.5 percent of his passes to go along with 104 touchdowns and 30 interceptions. He also rushed for 3,263 yards and 43 touchdowns.
