The New Orleans Saints officially released LB Will Compton from injured reserve with a settlement on Thursday.
Compton, 29, signed on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of Nebraska back in 2013. However, the team waived him shortly after and signed him to their practice squad once he cleared waivers.
The Redskins promoted him to their active roster at the end of the 2013 season and he played out the rest of his rookie deal with the team. Compton signed a one-year deal with the Titans worth up to $2 million last year before joining the Saints a few weeks ago.
Unfortunately, he was placed on injured reserve coming out of the preseason.
In 2018, Compton appeared in 12 games for the Titans, recording 12 total tackles, one forced fumble and one pass defense.
