Webb was among 14 players who recently tried out for the Saints, so he was clearly on their radar.
Webb, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2013. He lasted just over a year in Dallas before he was waived and later claimed by the Steelers.
Unfortunately, Webb’s stay in Pittsburgh was short-lived, as they cut him loose just a few days later. The Titans signed him to their practice squad at the start of last season and later promoted him to their active roster. However, he was cut loose a few weeks ago as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players.
In 2015, Webb appeared in nine games for the Titans and recorded 22 tackles, one interception and two pass defenses.
