Nick Underhill of NewOrleansFootball.com reports that the Saints have signed veteran RB Ty Montgomery to a contract on Friday.
Montgomery, 27, is a former third-round pick of the Packers back in 2015. Green Bay traded him to the Ravens in exchange for a 2020 seventh-round pick back in October of 2018.
Montgomery finished the final year of his four-year, $2.949 million contract and before signing a one-year contract with the Jets last year.
In 2019, Montgomery appeared in all 16 games for the Jets and rushed for 103 yards on 32 carries (6.4 YPC) to go along with 13 receptions for 90 yards receiving. He also totaled 364 kick return yards.
