Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that the Saints will try out free agent SÂ Sharrod Neasman during their rookie minicamp this weekend.
Neasman previously tried out for the Chiefs, but wasn’t signed to a contract following the session.
Neasman, 26, wound up signing on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Florida Atlantic back in 2016. He was cut loose at the start of the 2016 season and later signed to the Falcons practice squad.
Last year, Neasman managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but the Falcons declined to tender him a qualifying offer this past March, making him an unrestricted free agent.
In 2017, Neasman appeared in 11 games for the Falcons and recorded two tackles.
