The Seattle Seahawks announced that they’ve activated CB Jeremy Lane from the PUP listย and waivedย RB Bryce Brown to make room for Lane.
Lane, 25, was placed on the PUP list at the start of the regular season to give him time to recover from his ACL surgery.
He’s in the final year of hisย four-year, $2,225,112 rookie contractย that included a $125,112 signing bonus. Lane will make a base salary ofย $660,000 this season before testing the open marker next year.
In 2014,ย Lane appeared in seven games and recorded 13 tackles, a forced fumble and three pass defenses.
Brown, 24,ย is a former seventh round pick of the Eagles back in 2012. However, heย lasted less than two years in Philadelphia before he was traded to the Bills.ย Buffalo ultimatelyย waived Brown a few weeks into the regular season.
The Seahawks wound up signing Brownย to a contract close to a month ago, butย elected to cut him loose last week.
