TMZ Sports reports that Seahawks CB Jeremy Lane was arrested for DUI over the weekend in Washington and has since been released on $1,000 bail.
Lane was actually traded to the Texans ahead of last year’s deadline as part of the Duane Brown deal. However, Lane failed his physical with the Texans, which led to the two teams revising their deal.
It’s possible Lane could be suspended for the start of the 2018 season for this incident.
Lane, 27, is a former sixth-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2012. He’s entering the third year of his four-year, $23 million contract that included $11 million guaranteed and stands to make base salaries of $6 million over the final two years of the agreement.
In 2017, Lane appeared in 13 games and recorded 31 tackles to go along with no interceptions or pass defenses for the Seahawks.
