The Seahawks have officially announced their roster moves in order to get down to the required 53 players.
The list of players either released or placed on waivers includes:

- OT Terry Poole
- LB Alex Singleton
- WR Kevin Smith
- RB Rod Smith
- DE Julius Warmsley
- WR Kasen Williams
The Seahawks also placed CB Mohammed Seisay and RB Robert Turbin on season-ending injured reserve. DT Jesse Williams was added to their non-football illness list.
Turbin is dealing with a serious ankle issue that is likely a high-ankle sprain, and reports from last night mentioned that he was likely to revert to injured reserve if he cleared waivers.
Turbin, 25, is in the final year of his four-year, $2,556,456 rookie contract that included a $456,456 signing bonus. He stands to make a base salary of $660,000 for the 2015 season.
Last year, Turbin appeared in all 16 games for the Seahawks and ran for 310 yards on 74 carries (4.2 YPC) to go along with 16 receptions for 186 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
