Bills Signing DL Quinton Jefferson To Two-Year, $13.5M Deal

Update:

Dan Graziano reports that the Bills are signing DL Quinton Jefferson to a two-year, $13.5 million contract.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Bills are expected to sign former Seahawks DL Quinton Jefferson to a two-year contract.

Jefferson, 26, is a former fifth-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2016. He was waived coming out of the 2018 preseason and later claimed off of waivers by the Rams.

The Rams cut Jefferson and signed him to their practice squad. The Seahawks wound later add Jefferson to their active roster and brought him on an exclusive rights contract before re-signing him as a restricted free agent back in April.

In 2019, Jefferson appeared in 14 games for Seattle and recorded 26 total tackles, four tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, one fumble recovery and three pass defenses. Pro Football Focus rated him as the No. 28 overall interior defender out of 114 qualifying players.

We had him included in our Top 100 Available 2020 Free Agents list.
