Seahawks LT Duane Brown Undergoing Surgery For Meniscus Injury, Could Return For Playoffs

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Seahawks LT Duane Brown is specifically undergoing surgery to trim his meniscus on Monday, which typically requires a two-three week recovery.

The good news is that Brown could still return to the Seahawks for the playoffs and this isn’t a season-ending issue.

Brown, 34, is a former first-round pick of the Texans back in 2008. He was later traded to the Seahawks in 2017 before signing a three-year, $36.5 million extension with Seattle.

Brown stands to make base salaries of $8,750,000 and $10,000,000 over the final two years of the agreement.

In 2019, Brown has appeared in 12 games and made 12 starts at left tackle.
