Seahawks Officially Re-Sign RB Marshawn Lynch

The Seattle Seahawks have officially re-signed RB Marshawn Lynch on Monday, according to his agent.

Seattle lost both RBs Chris Carson and C.J. Prosise for the season during Sunday’s game, so the team is in desperate need of help at the position heading into the playoffs.

The Seahawks are also signing Robert Turbin to a contract, according to reports.

Lynch, 33, is a former first-round pick of the Bills back in 2007. He played three seasons in Buffalo before he was traded to the Seahawks.

Lynch decided to retire after six years with the Seahawks, but later came out of retirement and was traded to the Raiders. Lynch played two seasons for Oakland.

In 2018, Lynch appeared in six games for the Raiders and rushed for 376 yards on 90 carries (4.2 YPC) to go along with 15 receptions for 84 yards receiving and three total touchdowns.
